On Wednesday November 2nd SuMi Trust held our first Garage Sale for a cause!
Employees brought in bags of donations including clothes, books, and more. HRD put the items up for sale and all the proceeds were donated to Goodwill along with any remaining items.
Goodwill empowers individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment to gain independence through the power of work for over 100 years.
By providing critical job training, placement, and retention services for people with disabilities and other barriers, they can uplift communities to support employment.
Donations provided to Goodwill allow them to keep stores open, running and employees employed. SuMi Trust raised $80 and donated an additional 6 bags of items for the cause.
We are so grateful to our employees for all their efforts and donations towards this great cause!
