Hello! This is Conduct and Culture Sub-Committee (CCSC) in the London Branch.

On the 21^st of February, the London Branch had the pleasure of hosting Ms Stefanie Drews, the president of Nikko Asset Management, as a guest speaker on corporate sustainability and Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI).

The presentation highlighted the importance of incorporating sustainable practices into corporate strategies to ensure the longevity and wellbeing of both an organisation and its employees.

In addition to the presentation, Stefanie also participated in a focus group that centred on women’s equality in the financial services industry, providing perspectives on the challenges women may face in the workplace and the action that can be taken by firms to support and develop women’s empowerment.

Overall, Stefanie’s presentation and participation in the focus group were a resounding success. She not only provided valuable insights but also challenged us to think critically about what improvements can be made at the London Branch in relation to corporate sustainability and DEI.

We are grateful to have had the opportunity to hear from Stefanie and look forward to implementing similar ideas and initiatives at the London Branch.
