With the roll out of the Bank’s Composting Program we partnered with our composting vendor to provide employees with the opportunity to learn more about composting, how composting impacts the environment, and how you can begin composting at home.

Rachana Shah, Zero Waste Consultant, provided a 1-hour virtual presentation to teach us about NYC’s waste infrastructure, composting and recycling systems in the city, and how we can all reduce our footprint!

39 employees attended both in person and through Zoom. A recording of the event was posted on our internal learning platform, SuMi Learn, for those who were not able to attend.

The key to a successful composting program is all about education. Ensuring that employees know about the program, understand the benefits, and how composting it works. This Education Lunch was the first step towards making this program as successful as possible!
