Hi, this is Kiyomi. I am in charge of SDGs activities at Singapore branch.
On 24 Apr 2025, 14 Volunteers fom Singapore branch accompanied AWWA members on a Singapore Zoo excursion.
Ranked among the top three in the world, the Singapore Zoo is known as “the most beautiful zoo in the world.” It’s a vast zoo covering approximately 280,000 square meters, home to approximately 4,200 animals representing approximately 300 species. Based on the concept of an “open zoo,” the zoo has few fences or cages, allowing visitors to see the animals in a natural environment that’s as close to their natural habitat as possible.
Briefing with AWWA staff
AWWA members have arrived.AWWA Heading to the zoo.
Many of them are visiting the zoo for the first time, and they are all very excited.
Sing along to the different sounds coming from the drums. Everyone is full of smiles!
He is blind, the staff give him a verbal description of the zoo and its animals. It’s a King Cobra!
Lunch at KFC. They are starving!
They also had the opportunity to see and touch the animals up close.
It had been raining for a while, so we were worried about the weather, but the weather was nice that day and everyone had a great time. We will continue to support AWWA so that we can bring smiles to everyone’s faces.
