Hello! This is Charity, Wellbeing and Social Working Group (CWSWG) in the London Branch.

Since 2011, the London branch has donated the savings made by emailing Christmas cards to its clients instead of paying for delivery fees to Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children every year.

Great Ormond Street Hospital opened in 1852 and is London’s most famous children’s hospital and a charity foundation. It is a pioneering hospital that has performed many “world firsts” in pediatrics, including the world’s first successful bone marrow transplant.

It is also known that the British novelist J.M. Barry donated the copyright of Peter Pan to this hospital, and Roald Dahl, the author of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory collaborated to develop a medical device.

Donations are used for a research of a number of life-saving treatments and for the running of the hospital itself.
