Hi, this is Kiyomi. I am in charge of SDGs activities at the Singapore branch.

Every year in Singapore, many companies in Singapore organise D&D (dinner and dance) parties as a thank-you and bonding event for their employees.

In February 2023 following the relaxation of Covid19 regulations, the SGP branch organised a D&D for FY2022. The D&D for 2023 was then conducted on 1 December 2023.

What does D&D do?

Usually, we decide a theme for the year. On the event day, we’ll wear fancy-dress costumes based on the year’s theme.  For example, the theme for 2022 was “Oscars Night”. Some staff members dressed up as Indiana Jones, Superman and Steve McQueen.

There were also performances by Queen and BTS. An MC from an event company will host the event.

The theme for 2023 was “Back to the School”

Management staff wearing school uniforms with regent hairstyles gave a cheering yell. Unfortunately, neither this hairstyle nor the yell made sense to local hired staff!

There are games and performance acts. Everyone gets excited with a drinking game.
