Hello! This is Kimberly and Mariko from NY branch.

On August 9, 2022, NYB employee, Mariko Oyabu provided an insightful speech to Ena High School students where she shared her experience as a Japanese business woman working in the US and social philanthropy efforts.

Ms. Oyabu lived abroad in her formative years and began her career in Japan. She had various assignments in London and in New York working in many different fields where she has vastly changed the landscape for years to come.

She shared highlights of the Bank initiatives to address social philanthropy in addition to what she has done to fulfill her personal social philanthropic goals. 

By sharing these important tasks with impressionable students, she also fulfilled the SDG 4 Quality Education to provide students with an inspirational tale as well as a great employer!
